The Khaf–Harat railway, spanning 225 Km, serves as a vital link between Iran and Afghanistan. Afghanistan’s rich mineral resources have the potential to be efficiently transported via this railway, underscoring the strategic importance and justification of the project.

Iran Oston Consulting Engineers has completed 138 Km of substructure and 105 Km of superstructure, contributing significantly to the advancement of this cross-border railway corridor.
