The Kerman–Zahedan railway plays a fundamental role in the economic growth and development of Iran’s eastern and southeastern regions, contributing to poverty alleviation and regional integration. Moreover, it will establish a critical rail connection between Europe and Southeast Asia, bridging a currently interrupted section along this international corridor. The railway spans 225 Km and includes 12 stations. It is estimated to transport 2 million tons of cargo and 500,000 passengers annually, significantly boosting trade and mobility.

Iran Oston Consulting Engineers has been responsible for 9 sections, covering 205 Km of the route, overseeing the design and supervision of this strategic infrastructure.
