The Bafq–Bandar Abbas railway, approximately 600 Km in length, is a critical infrastructure project connecting the north and south of Iran. Sections 5A, 5B, 12, 13, and 14, along with the Tezerj organizational station covering an area of 9,700 m², were completed by Iran Oston Consulting Engineers in the 1960s.
This railway plays a pivotal role in linking the Bafq–Mashhad–Sarakhs corridor, facilitating efficient transportation and strengthening the country’s national rail network.
