This highway is a part of Astara-Gorgan highway network, which is about 75 km long and includes Lisar, Khutbe Sara, Talesh-Asalem-Dinachal, Parehsar and Rezvanshahr bypasses as a four-lane highway. The major sections, especially outside the bypass have already been completed, are under operation.
