The Tehran–Qom–Isfahan High-Speed Railway (HSR) is Iran’s first high-speed rail project and is currently under construction. This railway significantly reduces travel time between Tehran and Isfahan and provides a vital connection between Isfahan, Qom, and Imam Khomeini International Airport.

Spanning a total length of 410 Km, the railway is designed for a maximum speed of 300 km/h, with an operational speed of 250 km/h. It is expected to handle a passenger capacity of 16 million annually, enhancing connectivity and boosting economic growth in the region.

The employer’s consultant of this mega project is a joint venture between Iran Oston Consulting Engineers and the Italian company Italfer.
