It is a part of Tehran-Bandar Imam axis, which is about 104 Km long, that is 65 Km less than the same length on the existing road. As the route passes through a difficult area of Zagros mountains, 15 tunnels with a length of 26 km and 14 bridges with length of 2600 m have been built over this freeway. This project is one of the largest and top freeway projects in the country in terms of the volume of operations, construction time and a significant reduction in length and travel time.

Construction of this freeway has been completed 5 months earlier than the initial period of the contract. This Consulting Engineers has been responsible for the studies and supervision on the construction of this freeway.
