The Tabriz urban railway is approximately 15 Km long with 14 stations included, starts from Tabriz Shahid Madani International Airport, passes through Grand Azarbaijan Square and Enghelab Islamic Street, continues through Daneshsara Square and Artesh Street, and ends at the large Tabriz bus terminal located on Shahid Kasai Highway.

The construction method involves mechanized excavation using a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM); a part of the project constructed using the cut-and-cover method. This railway line connects to Lines 1 and 2 of the Tabriz urban railway via an interchange station.
